Diageo Uruguay leads the communication of the brand VAT 69 under the global premise that competition between friends is something fun, no matter who wins.
Aligning with this spirit, they asked us to design the new case for the regular Scotch whisky.
Keeping the brand’s graphic identity, impacting on shelf and giving the new packaging a fresher graphic language. Another important objective was that the packaging itself transmitted and encouraged the idea of competition between friends, to collaborate on the construction of the values and the essence of the brand.
Through a design showing continuity among its different sides, we created a standout on shelf product, enhancing the brand’s presence in points of sale. The inclusion of printing finishing, such as spot varnishes and blind emboss, gave the new packaging new finishing details that, pertaining the senses, were an invitation for the consumer to go through the different texts and messages that appeared on it.
