Pagnifique is an Uruguayan company that started in 1995. They introduced the concept of deepfrozen bakery and were quickly positioned as leaders of the category. During its business years, they have added different product lines with the focus on being leaders in each category they have gotten into. In 2012, they requested the creation of the identity of their line of products named Soft Breads, obtaining immediately after launching the 50% of market share.
As a great leader, Pagnifique knows that they always have to be at the cutting edge of innovation. So they invited us to refresh what was done before, adding also new products to their portfolio. As main goals, they wanted to improve their brand’s performance and have more presence on the front of their packaging and transmit tastiness. Due to the great acceptance and value that their Soft Breads had, we had to project a design that showed continuity with the one in existence, but with a fresh look.
Regarding color, it was clear that we had to continue on using white backgrounds because this was the brand’s color. Instead of being a plain color, and to provide warmth to its presentation, we introduced in the background of the design the image of white wood upon which we placed the photographs of the different kinds of bread. This resulted in continuity for the line’s identity, improving what was requested by Pagnifique when contacting us.
