Olivares Salteños is one of the main Uruguayan brands of olive oil in terms of its quality and its recognition. Its products are focused on offering the best gastronomic solution to create real flavor experiences.
Its brand identity had some application issues and hadn’t been refreshed for some time. There also existed a qualitative difference between the product (that had been awarded many international prizes for its quality), the identity of the brand and its packaging line. Within this context, we were assigned the project under the condition of making the design reflect the product’s quality and a plus for the target audience’s experience.
The proposal by Cruce accepted by the client was to accomplish three clear objectives: communicating quality and premiumness, naturalness (the product is 100% natural and organic) and boost sales through the presentation of a giftable object. The use of papers with textures and good printing finishing gave the packaging line a quality in keeping with the product it contained.
